Calling all mama bears, teachers, retired teachers, aunties, grandmas, dads, coaches, and anyone who has ever packed a lunch, graded a paper, or stayed up late helping with a science project: this one's for you.

Our kids' classrooms are on the ballot. Right now, the State Board of Education is being pushed by Christian Nationalists and fear mongers who want to ban books, rewrite history, and turn public schools into political battlegrounds. We say: not in our classrooms, not on our watch.

That's why we're backing Tiffany Perkinz for State Board of Education, a champion for public schools, real history, and teachers who are trusted to teach.

Here's the plan: 🥘 Bring your favorite dish. Your famous gumbo, your boudin balls, your "I stopped at the store" cookies. All welcome! ✍️ Write postcards to voters across the district reminding them to vote for Tiffany. 🎶 Have fun. Good music, good food, and a room full of people who refuse to sit this one out.

No experience needed! We'll have postcards, addresses, stamps, sample messages, and pens. Just bring your appetite and your handwriting (even if it looks like a doctor's).

Teachers taught us to show our work. Moms taught us to never give up. United, we outnumber the fear. Let's prove it, one postcard at a time. 💪💙
